In 2007, RTR (Renault Technologies Romania) was created close to Bucharest with all the R&D Dacia’s potential assisted by Renault’.
The target was to increase quality and efficiency on the Logan project and to “think” & develop the next Logan (like Logan pick-up, Sandero or the next 4X4 Logan).
In order to supply its customers all around the world, A Raymond (with good input and assistance from RTR’s marketing department) organised in May the A Raymond days in RTR. Coming from Romania, Czech Republic and France, an expert fastener’s team showcaased the know-how and the expertise of A Raymond and Rayconnect in several domains like fluid connections, wiring, cable channels, metal & plastic fasteners, gap compensation and “how to increase savings with fasteners”. These 2 days were a big success as the show became a non-stop discussion between a lot of people from RTR R&D department and the AR team.
On the 3rd day, we had the opportunity to visit the Dacia plant in Pitesti.
In fact, these 3 days in Romania were just only … more than fastening…
