f18.9 quick connector with pull tab
A Raymond Japan developed a unique mechanism to release the pull tab only when the end piece/pipe is correctly inserted into the connector.
The pull tab can only be released with less than 34 N force when the end piece/pipe is inserted completely.
If the pipe/end piece is not completely inserted into the connector, the pull tab is not able to be released (force less than 34 N). If the operator continues to try to remove the pull tab, it will break at more than 59N to warn of an incorrectly assembled joint.
