A Raymond organized an Innovation Day last July 6th at Fiat Group headquarters in Turin. The event was organized with the collaboration of the Fiat Group Purchasing department and Raygroup Communication team.
Encouraged by the success of the 2004 edition, attended by over 100 visitors, A Raymond was once again able to demonstrate the high performance and innovative features of its assembly solution to Fiat’s technical and purchasing teams. All of the A Raymond Network’s products and processes were presented on different stands: fasteners Europe by A Raymond Italy, fasteners America by A Raymond Tinnerman, Quick Connectors by Rayconnect, RayTOOL® assembly process by A Raymond Germany, bonding by Raybond, R&D by RAYCE and Full Service Provider by FACIL.
Participants also had a sneak preview of scale models of the very latest assembly solutions.
The day, organized in the spirit of a garden party, took place in two stages: Fiat group executive managers were welcomed from 9 to 10 am, followed by technicians from 10 am to 4 pm. While Fiat group technicians and engineers had partial knowledge of A Raymond capabilities, this event allowed them to see the Network’s full offering, know-how and international presence.
