A Raymond Italiana developed a new solution to guide and protect the rear electric cables.
The solution is an assembly of several parts:
- special part fixed to the body of the car,
- special fastener fixed at one end of the chain
- elastic rubber
- special fastener fixed on the other end of the chain
- plastic bracket
- plastic chain
- plastic channel
All these parts are unique for the right and the left door except for the plastic channel and for the plastic bracket.
All the parts, except for the brackets, are assembled in a kit (left or right).
The electric cables are inserted in the kits.
The brackets are fixed in the interior of the doors.
The kits with the cables are inserted in the doors and fixed to the brackets from one side and to the body of the car on the other side.
When you open the door the chain with the electric cables inside comes out from the channel.
When you close the door the chain retracts into the channel because of the force of the elastic rubber.
